Discover The Course To Your Coaching Future
Coach Training Courses
The European Bowling Federation offers 3 levels of training for coaches.
I am trained and authorised to deliver the Level 1 course and the Level 2 course.
I plan a few throughout each year but please get in touch if you need one for your club, or area.
Level 1
The Level I coaching program is the first qualification in the EBF Program. It focusses mainly on teaching beginners the foundations of the one-handed and two-handed techniques. Coaches must complete 150 hours of coaching post course to be certified as a EBF Level I Coach.
Level 2
The Level II coaching program builds on the foundations of technique and focuses on the elements that affect scoring including ball reaction, topography and oil patterns. Coaches must complete 200 hours of coaching post course to be certified as a EBF Level II Coach.
Level 3
Level III is the highest EBF coach education program and is for those who are running national programs, and for those who work as a professional coach. The program has a very detailed focus on all topics in Level 1 and Level and adds in other aspects which are relevant to professionalism.

Refresh and, or update your coaching knowledge and skills with my "new for 2026" Clinics.
There are six topics, each covered in a 3-hour clinic and so two can be delivered each day.
I will be planning a few throughout the year but please get in touch to organise coming to your centre. No class room is required, as all the clinics can be conducted on the lanes.

Mentoring
Coach mentoring is like bowling coaching, where I help you achieve your goals, guide your planning, offer support and advice, and show you how to work effectively with your players.
Whether you prefer regular or occasional sessions, I charge the same hourly rate based on your current coaching level. Sessions can be held in person if you come to me, or via video call—it's completely up to you.
