I am Mark Heathorn, a professional tenpin bowling coach based in England and I work with bowlers, coaches, and federations. My teaching is based in EBF Methodology, complimented by other formal training:

Training without practical application is just theory. My expertise has been garnered by delivering thousands of hours of coaching, training, and mentorship to hundreds of bowlers, hundreds of coaches, and in many countries over the last 15+years, and in the rest of my working life.
Developing People is my passion
Working with people and improving their knowledge and capabilities is something I have done and loved for most of my adult life. Before I set out on my own as a bowling coach, I worked as a manager and trainer for various companies where I gained many skills and experiences which have helped me become the coach I am today. Seeing people light up with ambition and achievement, however large or small, short or long term each may be, is hugely satisfying, especially having been part of that.

DartFish Motion Analysis is my choice of software and this allows me to film shot to shot, or continuously (and review), compare positions and technique from different times, annotate with many drawing tools, add notes, add voice notes, and share to my bowlers.
At Shipley Lanes we can use Specto as well which is a high-tech analysis device and software which tracks the bowling ball on the lane and provides dozens of bits of data to help bowlers learn, and understand, and link their technique elements to ball motion.
I also own a range of other training tools, including the Kegel Arrow, BowlU tools, lots of electrical tape amongst other things!
